There is the following error-warning: 'Project Professional 2007 has taken too long to open. If Project Professional is not running yet, manually open Project Professional 2007 and wait until it is running before trying your request' Are there any know problems with IE 9 in combination with Project Server 2007 SP2(Server), Project Professional SP1(client) and Windows 7? Are you aware that user connected on PWA is the same that open client? If you open client connected on Project Server, are you able to open that project? Finally, are you sure that cache folder for project professional is set correct?

Project server got no problem with new Projects, just the old Projects, created at the old scenarion with windows xp, IE 8 can't be opened. Also at this time of the old scenario, office 2003 has been on the PCs. Now there ist Office 2010 with project professional 2007, an scenario Microsoft does not support. Maybe another possible reason for the disfunction.
