Don't bother with Havoc's Infamous Kits. Their are some good samples in them, but the drums are shitty for the most part.

I would torrent it because like I said, there are some dope samples but I wouldn't pay for it or rely on the kit having tons of useful samples. Cardiaks Flatline Kits are dope for sure, some of!llminds Blap Kits are decent. I'll have to check what other ones I have when I get home. EDIT: You can find free downloads of all of these so I would just do that if I were you:p • • • •. The thing about looking for drum sample packs is it's hard to judge sounds by themselves. Sometimes it's very obvious that something is no good.really an overwhelming majority of free ARTIST NAME STYLE kits fall under this category. But a lot of times you don't get the big picture until you use them in a beat.I think Illmind's kits fall into that category.

You'll go through and not hear anything mindblowing, but pick some sounds and start playing around and something dope usually comes out. Having said that, a couple I recommend are Illmind kits, Goldbaby's Urban Cookbooks, and if you can find a copy anywhere Pete Mariott's drum break collection is awesome.
