I have recently aquired a SxS sidelock shotgun by Victor Sarasquita (Spain). It would appear that you do not have this maker on your data base. I am trying to find the date and model of shot gun serial NO: 220595. I have a book called Spanish Best by Terry Wieland 2nd edition. But it makes limited referance to serial numbers-dates of manufacture or models. This manufacturer closed their doors in 1981. Would you know where I might scource serial NO: - Dates of manufacture and perhaps some form of model identification.

(70.5 cm.) blued nitro (2014 reproof) barrels signed in full and with gold-inlaid Victor Sarasqueta trade mark on the matt rib, 2 ¾ in. (70 mm) chambers, bored approx. ¾ and full choke, case-hardened treble grip action with blued floor-plate and side-clipped fences, blued toplever, automatic safety with white metal inlaid 'SEGURO', case-hardened locks each with gold-inlaid cocking-indicator and arrow, case-hardened triggers, blued trigger-guard with applied crown and gold 'A XIII' monogram, profuse best quality bouquet and scroll engraving throughout, figured 13 ½ in. Semi-pistolgrip stock with horn butt-plate, case-hardened sling mounts, old inventory label, and retaining virtually all its original finish throughout, weight 6 lbs.
